Can you post a reference for the switch please? And is it the same one goes in the OE mech?

I've dismantled the failed lock and it's 100% for sure the microswitch. Given they're nice other than the shoddy switch, I've ordered a new microswitch which I'll try out on my passenger side one.
Obvs drivers side is now OEM and can stay that way.
How has the new microswitch held up? Where did you get it from in the end?

Well......

What I actually ended up doing was putting OE ones in - I found a some new old stock ones for about 40 quid a side.

But RS components for the microswitch that I didn't use in the end...

Hmm. Seems RS don't hold historical orders...so I'm afraid I don't recall the exact microswitch I found.
