New tyre time

Post by Codie247 » Fri Feb 07, 2020 7:38 pm

I’m about to fit 4 x new tyres and was wondering had anybody tried the Goodyear Supersports yet?

I’ve always preferred and gone for the Michelin through the years but thought I’d ask.

At what mm left on the tyre would you say that the Mich'ys become in need of changing? Or are they just brilliant all the way down to the wear limit or thereabouts?

The wet performance gets worse with wear, but the dry is virtually unaffected. I take mine down to the wear markers or thereabouts. :D

Mind you, on the old C5 I ran them down to the canvas on a couple of occasions without realising
