My brother recently broke his engine cam shaft bearings went, so he has spent the last 10 weeks repairing his little beauty having spent £2500 rebuiliding it to a high spec
whilst running it in beofre it was due to be tuned he put his foot down 2nd gear wheel spin, 3rd gear wheel spin -- fishtailed lost the backend and went into a 04 Vauxhall van that was parked up, he only clipped it but it was enough to write both van and car off,
He is ok few back pains, and shoulder but he should be fine
He is insured and taxed but his MOT ran out a while back but as it hasnt be on the road he naturally didnt get an MOT for it, So its a real F....... for him.
The police came but he didnt tell em about no MOT. He has a produce for 7 days time.
Any 1 in the insurance trade got some advice about whether he is covered without an MOT. Otherwise he could be looking at paying both for his car which is worth about 9k and tha van at at least 12k.
Oh and any1 that knows some1 that can back date an MOT would be most helpful,
Cheers

I think the insurance company will say that, as the car wasn't road legal at the time of the crash, it isn't covered
Reference the MOT, doubt you can back date them now they are computerised
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

Sorry I've got to lock this thread in the best interests of this website. You are asking for people to help your brother commit fraud to hide a crime. I cannot let this site be seen to condone that.
I am not in the insurance trade but I'm 99% sure that any insurance policy is void if the car is driven on a public road without an MOT. This may only be done if the car is being taken directly to an MOT centre for the purpose of getting one.
I believe the Police will wish to see the MOT. Your brother is therefore going to be facing charges.
