I used to have DS2500 on my 4x4 Cosworth, great pads even for normal day to day driving, if i need to change pads on the RS it will be OEM or Ferodo

I'm now on Ferodo Premier all round and tbh for everyday driving and some spirited driving they seem fine compared to OEM and my last 2 sets of them I never wore down to the sensor anyway.

Audi have just confirmed that front brake pads for the C5 RS6 are NLA! Holy cow!
That's a service item, not a "rare & unusual" part.

Doesn't make any sense. It's the same pad for the B7 RS4.

Is that for definite - if so, I'll order some RS4 ones.

RS4 part number is looking like 8E0698151Q (that's for an 06-08, which I think is B7?) and shows as still available.
RS6 part number is 4B3698151A

Also shares the same pad as a fee of the lambo range aswell
However I'm not sure what the compound differences will be as the lambo undoubtedly weighs a lot less
Cheers Al

What happened to the Dublin ones?

Pretty sure they are the same. Both RS4 and RS6 take the same DS2500 pad part number so it’s a fairly safe bet.

Some Lambos are fatties. The Murci weighs almost the same as the RS6.

Really  , I expected them too weigh the same as a wet teatowl . I know on the side of the box for my pads it listed a few fitments which is why I suggested the lambo route . I think were gonna have to start stockpiling parts sooner or later if they keep discontinuing them .
