Wonder if the winning bidder has had an inspection done?

That’s a lot of money for a car that’s been smashed.

Seller is a bit of shocker too. Never mentioned any of this to me.

Wasn't this the particular RS6 which was on coparts within the last year, previously discussed here too?
The plate looked very familiar to me when I saw the advert.
One on copart was smashed to pieces
This car was on Copart and had it's own thread here, but that had 51k miles:
https://www.copart.co.uk/lot/36721129
There was blue/black write off on 90k odd that was knocking around for a while looking for a new victim.
The car in this thread had 36k, and all the history did stack up.

So you're going to buy it then?
Serious.

Or the OP was trying to put people off bidding by making this whole thing up! Lol
That occurred to me too.

That copart car isn’t the same car.

The unit 20 invoices show a 59 plate reg.

But the OP here still had the car inspected apparently and it’s a dog.

We don't actually know that, we only know what the OP has said, and he's not exactly a seasoned member..... Colour me sceptical.

And no I didn't make that report up to put people off. I was planning on bidding on the car and spent £200 on the inspection as i didn't want to spend so much on a car unseen.
The car was also hpi clear

With the benefit of a few days reflection...

These cars are 10 years plus old now, so paint work is probably forgivable. My recent purchase has had paint, but if it had not been done then it would have been needing paint to be acceptable to me so I can accept that...

Previous body or structural damage though with panel gap differences, obvious tool marks on items, or alleged mileage discrepancy is obviously quite something else.

Amazing how a well taken sale photo can hide so much.

No, it's chassis number 2227 vs 2275.

That seems like a very comprehensive inspection for the money & well worth the price considering how bad the car is. Who did you use?
