OK guys, I've been an active contributor to SRS since 2014 and now that I also have a car that actually rates on 246, I'm attempting to contribute here too. Clearly I'm treading on some well established toes in the process and it isn't appreciated. Is this really what 246 is?
Reading back, I did ask some specific questions that were important to me if not anyone else, and the answers included issues that are tangential to my specific issues. It seems pretty clear to me as a foreigner that Sweegie lives in Scotland, as do some of my relatives by the way. I found that much out by just searching and reading.
At my age I doubt that I have the years left to learn enough about every single thing about RS6 tuning and the intricacies of the map structure. I do all my own mechanical work on all my cars and understand I can't be "the man" on every aspect of several different models. If you have the time left, go for it. Personally I'd like to get some road time in too. I did mention that I appreciated the advice offered, just that my priorities were about stuff that I didn't know anything about and really wanted to know the answers.
And yes, I'm a proud long term RS4 owner and just about to be a proud RS6 owner too. Maybe the rules say you can't be both!
