Mileage

im looking to buy an RS6 soon and have seen one with all the options I want. its a 2014 with 63000 miles. does this seem high? also what sort of mileage are these engines good for? thanks

Good for at least 150k - 200k miles before needing anything major mechanical- read somewhere (someone on here will probably know better than me) that they factor in a huge tolerance to build in longevity into the engine. 63k in 5 years is sod all. A mate has a 75k 2014 6 and he swears its better than it was with 30k on the clock. Just ensure when you look at the car that the service history is 100% - you'll love the car - I can guarantee that!!

Mine is 63 plate and has just past 90K miles - going like a train (but on time!!) :beerchug:

Ran my C5 beast past 200K no problem :boots:
