Re: Thoughts on this beastie?
I’d have it over a C7. I think the price is slightly ambitious but fourty something seems fair. - then again, how do you value a 1k bhp estate lol.

Built by specialist... it will likely need to be maintained by the same co / chap that built it.
Great car and I can only imagine what's it like on the road!

Re: Thoughts on this beastie?
It's a lot of money for any 11 year old car, but the seller is pitching it as value because of all the money that he's undoubtedly spent. It's like you pay for the mods, but the car's for free.
However, for someone who would obviously be a real enthusiast, there are lots ways to spend that much money on a fast car.
The Porsche Panamera Turbo, Aston Martin Rapide, Bentley Continental GT, Maserati Grantourismo, Nissan GTR to name a few. The world is your oyster.
I wonder if it's being sold by a forum member?

Re: Thoughts on this beastie?
Agreed, if you were thinking of a C7 at that sort of money, then this would certainly be a tempter; I doubt even a stage 2 C7 would keep up.
As for the prestige motors you mention Nick, sort of depends what ticks your boxes...I love a stupidly quick sleeper; think I'd go for the RS over those other marques....but, as a 246 member, I would, wouldn't I

Re: Thoughts on this beastie?
Pity it makes nowhere near the quoted power, it was built with the wrong compression pistons. Save yourself the heartache and buy mines when it’s for sale next month. It’ll be a shade cheaper and a far superior car

Do you know what CR? Do you happen to remember all this stuff from years ago?
I'd been thinking that lower CR might open the door to using more boost.

Hmm...did wonder on the absence of a dyno print out.
You know much about it then?
Re: Thoughts on this beastie?

Sorry mate I don’t, I wasn’t that interested in it at the time to ask for more details. Wish I did though as getting someone to build a c6 engine is a ballache

In case you were kicking yourself before, it's back up for sale again...
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-RS6-V10 ... Sw0Atdigrl
In fact quite a few sold cars go back up for sale:

I sold my Mondeo twice, and that's back up for sale again. It seems to be the norm these days that car sales fall through. EDIT: three times.
EDIT: And this one here has now been listed six times:
