West Yorkshire New Year Meet

Happy New Year to you all!

As promised, Shineydave and I have agreed to resurrect this festive Meet.

We are getting together at the Brickworks pub, Gildersome, just off the M62/A62 junction on Wednesday 4th January at 7pm.

If you havent been to one of these before, the general format is :

* Meet in the carpark at appointed time, admire each others' cars, talk a load of bollox about them whilst comparing brakes, wheels, and other modifications.

* Retire to bar where beer and food are consumed whilst talking more bollox about cars.

* If it's stopped raining, and it's not too dark, another tour of the Audi's in the carpark, where more bollox can be exchanged before heading off home...

Hope to see as many of you there as possible.

Non-WestYorkies are of course welcome, but please bring a passport!

Phil, this is not intended in any way as competition or replacement of the "official" Northern Meets.

Shineydave is new to the forum (and to S4s) and wanted to meet some guys local to him (thats the reason) - looks like I'm the only one who can be bothered!

i've got my escape plans sorted for the 16th by the way, importing dancing girls to keep the border guards occupied whilst i go under the wire. apparantly she's glad i have a new hobby, lol, it may be a slightly different story when the bills start landing on the doormat.
