Drive select short cut

Post by jamesbilluk » Sun Jul 28, 2019 1:38 pm

Hi all

Just wondering, is there a way to set up the steering wheel short cut button to change the drive select modes?

I think you can set up the favourite button on the steering wheel to change Drive Select. Sorry can't tell you how as the Performance version had a Drive Select button on the steering wheel instead of the favourite button.
I also think there were ways to retrofit the drive select button onto other steering wheels.

Depends a bit what car you have, pre facelift or facelift? If facelift, you can do by replacing your right steeringwheel button panel with the 'performance' one that has a dedicated drive select button that sends the correct lin code to slipring/canbus.
My friend happens to have a set laying he most likely is planning to sell if interested. PM me in case...

Thanks guys :)

It's a pre facelift, with the star like symbol on the steering wheel, there seems to be a limited about of thjngsbibcan set for it to do in the car settings which is a shame

intesting that drive select (on a facelift) is just a swap out.. Mind blown.
