My PE didn't suffer greatly from heat soak, even less so with the eventuri intake.

Don't fool yourselfs :) ...okey under throttle as many fresh intake air helps things cooler but that is beside the 'hot V' design so they ALLLLLL suffer from heat soak unless you altered cooling system and wrapped several items. The moment you go cruise or stop vehicle...there it is ;).
I dare you to monitor IAT after charge cooler, especially after city driving or half houre after you shut down the engine.
NO +2k€ will prevent that sadely...never the less it does help things a litlle once you apply boost but not the moment you stop adding fresh air.

There is enough of a difference in how mine drives at the moment that it is clearly down on power. The high ambient temps will play a part but it seems like mine is struggling to cool itself. I've noticed it chew through a little bit of oil recently as well as coolant.

Last year another PE owner had a similar problem and had dyno evidence of a drop in power, took it to Audi and got the usual response - no fault found! Ended up moving it on after battling with Audi UK to no avail.

Seeing others who are experiencing a similar issue says to me that there may well be a common cause that at the moment doesn't flag any alarms.

I'm getting mine dyno'd in a couple of weeks so will see what the result is.

Let us know how you get on.

I haven’t time to get mine checked out before driving to the south of France which is a shame, though with a dog and roof box I won’t be exploiting its full potential this time.

Have you watched the eventuri video where they go through the design of the C7 intake?
I tried it and found it to be effective.

Thing is Mike I’ve not actually seen an relevant data to show they work on anything other than a stock car, not saying that don’t either.

Yeah Paul’s car runs a Eventuri Intake, he now has the SRM short pipes mated to it also.

That car in question is actually quickest Stock Turbo RS7 in the world at 1/4 drag strip, not just the UK Image
