Black front rings

For anyone like me wishing to go black, I can confirm these are a perfect fit (on my pre FL)

Just waiting fror the rear black RS6 badge to arrive and then decide whether to go without rear rings or not..... or get some black one's.

Looks sweet..... I think you deffo need to go with some rings on the rear as without it will look a bit van'ish' IMHO.... I had no RS6 badge on the rear and it looked like a van. With a black badge, I think you need the black rings.... It will contrast well on the white....

Also on the front, I would go with black RS6. I am just waiting on a reply from an eBay seller as to when he can get me some gloss black front characters (at the moment I have matt black, but would prefer gloss) see this other thread viewtopic.php?f=76&t=132403.

Hi Lig,

I’ve got the black RS6 badge arriving for the rear, undecided on rings. Having the car detailed soon so will remove them for that and try and get some black in the right size, can only find mat at the moment.

Let me know how you get on with the front gloss badge.

Yeah will do....

I found 'photoshopping' the badges black helped give me a good visual before I changed.

Loads on eBay in various sizes, but ours are 200 x 70 and currently i've only found Mat one's (assuming you want black).

A bit rough round the edges, but gives you a bit of a visual...

Are your exhaust tips chrome? IF so then maybe polish them up and leave the badges chrome? If they are black then I would go black.... But the chrome\silver also fits with your silver mirrors and window trim etc... Mine is all black, which is why I went for black badges and rings as there was no other silver.....

I just think it has to have at least the rings but both IMO as to me it just looks like the back of a Ford Astra Van without...

But of course each to their own !!

Exhaust tips are/were black, but quite pitted, I might get them dipped.

I'm almost certainly going black rings. Thanks for the photo's to help me decide.

Yeah, get the tips dipped gloss black and then gloss black badges and rings and it will look spot on!!

Get rid of that rear wiper!
I'd normally say lose the rear wings but on a white car I think the black rings look really good. A mate of mine has a white one with black rear badges. I'll dig out a photo if I have time.
