Optimax supply problems?

Post by wazza » Thu Dec 22, 2005 2:26 pm

There is currently no Optimax available at Watford/Rickmansworth/Borehamwood/St Albans/Hemel Hempstead/Redbourn.
Shell CS have said they are looking into the supply of unleaded/diesel in preference to Optimax and the situation will not rectify itself until the middle of next week.
I need my fix

How is the supply in your area?

Duncan it would have taken you five minutes to go to Warfield Tesco where they do 99 octane! Think it is currently 91p litre

Yeah I went for the Tesco option since nowhere in the reading area seems to have optimax (or super of any description).

BTW, has anyone found that their fuel consumption ahs reduced somewhat running the 99 RON Tesco stuff over optimax?
