Pre v Post Facelift + Intro Pics.....

Post by Lig » Thu Jun 13, 2019 7:59 am

Hi Guys,

I am sure this has been asked a hundred times, but I searched and nothing came up....

So what is the difference, apart from the light units and the rev dial has an 'off position'? Anything else?

Cheers,
Lig.

From memory better tech (MMI), Alcantara door linings, standard front acoustic glass, lower road tax (on 21s), new lights, tweaked front bumper....

Cheers Mark,

The road tax thing is interesting as I am pretty sure that's to do with the reg month, so a 15 plate is still £555 where as a 65 plate is £325, both facelift....

I didn't know about the bumper, I will look at that...

I have just bought a 64 plate pre, but asked the dealer when I was looking and they didn't fully know, no surprise there!!

Cheers,
Lig.

The CO2 is lower in the facelift (just comes under threshold) for some reason. But rules have changed so we may both be right :)

Yeah, cheers Mark. Annoying really (when you own a pre)

But higher CO2 has got to mean that Pre's are faster right :D ??

Cheers,
Lig.

Thanks Weiß-sechs - I couldn't agree more.... I was so close to buying a Misano one and then the same dealer got the Riv one in and called me and said 'you have got to come and see this' it will sell today! And it did, within 2hrs :D .

Absolutely love it - makes it ultra special....

Is yours Riv??

Can't believe you've been on the forum for 12 years and never come across the rules! viewtopic.php?f=7&t=94654&start=120

I'm sure I saw you on the C5 forum over the years didn't I??

Heh heh, yep thats right Dave, I did have a C5... blimey about 12 years ago!!

I honestly don't remember the rules... grey matter and all that..... I will familiarise myself with them...

Image

Then a B7 RS4 (too small, seats too un-comfy)

Image

Then a Porsche 993 + BMW 535d (wont post pics of these on here)!!

And now chopped both the above in for the C7....
