Hey Riz, market trader - money is money, and nobody who earns good money will knock you for it. You see it doesn't matter how you make it (within reason ), just as long as you make it and spend it on cars, oh and maybe some major tuning, and even possibly (if you have to) a house .
My tip, go with what you know if it can make money, keep it simple, with small aims or goals - they all add up.
All IT seems distressed at the moment, although small turnkey service providers are now making ground due to a lot of major corporations outsourcing they're requirements.
Currently big opportunities within providers supporting BT, Telewest, Marconi, Energis, Transco and Severn Trent Water most of it relating to project management, quality management, technical field services (digital transmission),installation of digital customer premise equipment (CPE) and civil/overhead engineering crews.
(Un)fortunately most of the IT requirement for these sectors is directly outsourced to companies who don't make money, or it is supplied by the end user's approved IT service provider (who also doesn't make money). Been there, done it, made money, got out quick
