Gyeon can coat.

Post by Gav66 » Tue Apr 16, 2019 8:12 pm

Been hard at it this winter getting it ready for summer but finally finished.
New michelin ps4 allround.
New oem front disks and pads.
Lemforder control arms front and rear.
Gearbox oil and filter change.
Full service, plugs, filters and oil.
Powder coated all wheels as they were looking dull.
Clay barred top to bottom, DA polished and finished off with gyeon can coat.
:rocker:
If it wasn't for this site and some very helpful people I would probably have sold it on by now but very happy bunny at the moment....hope I haven't spoke to soon.

Yup, that’s looking very nice indeed.

Think it would look even better with the usual silver rings on the grill.

Thanks Shopp, need to have a think about that, grown quite fond of the look tbh. Might just buy some and see how it looks 👍

Looks good . Photos probably don't do it justice - reckon it looks even better in real life.

Does look nice. As for the rings.... Either go black front and back or silver front and back, not a mix of both. But it's only an opinion, and we are all different !

Love the black optics, thinking more and more often on getting my silver bits wrapped......

Glad you said that, didn't even realise front and back was different lol.
Where would one source the rings, had a look on Ebay but most are black funny enough.
Car looks brilliant in real life, usual stone chips on front and back arches had a quote for £600 to do full bottom of the car up to the door line (handle height) but not to sure if it would match.

Thanks Gripper/Jayjay, haven't had a chance to get the covers off and had a look. Topped the coolant up then drove back home last night about 30 miles and now no sign of a leak...any idea?
