Been a member of RS246 for years. Just sold my allroad and b5 RS4 with the intention of getting a c7 RS6 to replace both.

Like the look of this one at Romans St Albans.

I'd be very wary it's actually in stock.
When I was buying I turned up there to view a Daytona which was on their site and Pistonheads only to be told it sold months ago.
The ad stayed up for several more months after I had visited!

Cheers for the info pal. That ties in with the experience l’ve had with them so far. Twice they were supposed to get back to me regarding a couple of questions l had and they never bothered.
Managed to speak to the owner and he couldn’t confirm it had DRC...told me to ring Audi for the spec?! He said it wasn’t theirs and they were selling it for someone...

Shame as it’s exactly what l’m looking for but getting a bad feeling about this now

That's strange - autotrader advert worked this morning, now showing 'ad expired'

EDIT - disappeared from Romans website too I'm afraid.

Yes link doesn't work anymore. But for what it's worth I'm pretty sure the ad yesterday showed the drive select screen and there was no height adjust option that the air suspension cars have so must have had DRC.

Thanks for all the replies ....ads gone? The plot thickens. I’m pretty sure it had the DRC as somewhere in the ad it said it had the dynamic pack.

Looks like they were advertising it as bait 🤪

Oh well the search continues. If anyone is thinking of selling around that price/spec/colour...would also consider phantom black.

1k less but the spec/colour/mileage is exactly the same...

OK. Think it’s a good spec and is what l am after. My point is why did Romans not want to sell me it,then took it down, and now it’s up at a different garage for 1K less ?!?

It’s quite common for expensive cars to be given to Garages on a SOR basis. The owner probably changed his mind with Romans and approached a different garage to sell it for him.

Well l ended up buying this. As my first c7 rs6 l have to say it is everything l was expecting. Handles great, lovely on bad roads in comfort mode, great in dynamic. It’s a lovely place to be inside and the stamp of approval...my little 4 year old girl loves it as well
