Oh, about as far away as you could be :-) It comes with the Akrapovic, the first owner had it fitted. I'll see how I get on and will be be in touch if I don't like it, once I've got used to the car.

One of my favourite videos for the comparison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtk3A1GFx1s

Just wish the had a comparison of cold starts too as I need mine to be a little more refined for early start compared to my last straight piped V8 🤦🏽‍♂️

Not really comparable, although noteable.

Akra is Resonated and the Milltek in that clip is a non resonated system. Also, that Blue car eventually blew its engine up.

Mike is wrong.

OEM is quad exit, as there are 4 pipes exiting the back box, so Akra is certainly not fake. They're just bumper finishers anyway, you could leave the original fake ovals in there should you wish. Also finding one for £3k second hand is pipe (see what I did there) dream stuff, realistically budget £4k.
Mike is not wrong. I said they all look the same from the rear as you normally only see the bumper trim thingy with the exception of the akra which swaps this for a fake quad one. It is fake as it doesn't actually connect to the exuast and can be fitted to any aftermarket or even oem exhaust.
I wasn't talking about pipes exiting the back box as they all have 4 pipes but you can't see them unless you get on your hands and knees.

You are wrong though Mike.

The Akra tips represent what actually comes out the back box - 2 exits per side. The OEM finishers are oval, there is not a single oval exit per back box. Ergo which is more fake?

Neither actually connect to the back boxes, they are both fake.

I'll grant you that, if you continue to use it moving forth. I like facts, rather than opinion.

The Akrapovic is still the most representative bumper finisher though - haters take note!

Noted. Although I did say 2nd hand it is probably the cheapest option. Nothing but unbiased reporting here.

Oh yes I forgot to respond to that part. I've been offered several akras for £3k so that is a realistic price.
