2018 Satnav update

Post by Paulm » Wed Jan 09, 2019 7:53 pm

Anyone know where to get one?? FL RS7 (same as RS6)
BMW 540i
2018 GTR
F90 M5
X3MC
RS3 Saloon
RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp

Mine comes up on the sat nav. But it doesn't say how many GBs it is so not sure if it will use up all my data allowance.
If you don't have Connect you can still download on a computer and save to an SD card. I think Audi give you 2 or 3 free updates. Having said that, when I tried to download it, it failed.

I downloaded a couple of times. You can select which chunks you download, split by country I think. Wasn’t horrendous on data, but was in the gigabytes.

Does anyone know what the date of the latest update is? My car is a late 2017 (67 plate). Is there a newer version than the one I will have?
Currently running:
18 plate Lamborghini Huracan Performante (5.2l of V10 naturally aspirated craziness)
67 plate RS6 Performance (fully loaded)
66 plate Range Rover Autobiography (for wafting around)
16 plate Mini Cooper S convertible (lots of fun but rather skittish when thrashed)

Favourite car ever owned:
1971 Citroen DS21 - The Goddess (pure art on wheels)

The map shown when you log in to to website above is called 2018/19 but I couldn't see an actual release date.

Do it via the portal above and upload via sD card. I’ve done over the air as well, but it chews through your data
