Re: Roofboxes
I’m about to do the same.
I had a Packline roofbox on an RS4 (see pic) which looked good but the bars going through the box was a faff.
So I’m very interested to see how you get on with the Dynamic.

Re: Roofboxes
Almost,
Actually picked up some roof bars today so that I can put my box on.
Got the Thule Wingbars, box is a Thule Dynamic 800M that I bought when I had a Cayenne, it was actually a Volvo one as they had them on special offer, volvo badges peeled off!
It's quite aerodynamic.
Some pics here of people's

PS, if you get Thule get the T Bar adaptors, much more secure fitting. I went for the standard wing bars, not edge, as gives more room to fit a bike up there as well as the box.

Re: Roofboxes
Thanks for replies.
Sasha320, I'm looking at the longer box. Does the part sticking out over the windscreen annoy you?
Obviously I'd like as much load space as possible but not if it affects the field of vision/distracts.

Re: Roofboxes
I didn’t notice it to be honest - I always felt that I had mounted it a little too far forward anyway.

Re: Roofboxes
Picked up my box at the weekend so thought I'd update the thread.
Excuse the dirty car!
Thule wingbars in black and a Thule Dynamic L box in gloss black to match the black gloss pack.

Re: Roofboxes
Thought I would complete the thread and show pics of the roofbox I got.
The height is 1.80m, so would fit on the Eurotunnel train.
However, when I went on the Eurotunnel yesterday I bottled it anyway and went on the single decker!

Re: Roofboxes
Always the single decker... wider track = undamaged alloys

Re: Roofboxes
For sure now that the Flexiplus route accommodates the single decker as well!
Some more pics below.
Thinking about getting the lid colour matched Glacier White, but I worry it’ll look like I’m trying too hard...

Re: Roofboxes
Looking at roof bars for my RS6, mainly for bike racks though. Want to squeeze 4 bikes up there as I managed to do on a previous car. Have Thule wing bars for that car (not edge) and the Thule bike racks, but it appears the recommend wing bars are shorter for the RS6. Wonder if I can cut the old ones down or just have them wider...
I like the wingbar edge bars but looks like you lose a lot of width there which might make it impossible to fit 4 bikes up there.

Re: Roofboxes
I wouldn’t paint the lid, it looks great as it is. What box is it and how much does it realistically hold?
Cheers
