Brochures,,,

Post by bobjebb » Mon Dec 12, 2005 2:42 pm

Recieved a couple in the post after my order, silver hardback (saloon obviously) But haven't recieved one of these, pic nicked from another site - insurance_john you here?....

Anyone had one before I call my dealer and stamp my feet or would we expect another one to be produced for the Avant? Not overly bothered as I'm sure they won't be worth anything like the B5 one, but it would be nice to have.

If only you'd been at Donnington on Sunday Bob :bigblink: Have a word with Phil or someone who might be willing to trade. They are very nicely presented and apparently cost Audi 18 pounds each to produce!!!!!
A number of us now have one

To quote Audi Customer services: "No brochures have been printed for the RS4 in the UK, they must have come from Germany"

Take it I've pissed people off by not getting there... None more so than myself, car was gleaming after fastidious polishing all day saturday, video camera charged up, all excited and packed the night before. Was even going to do a full on edit of the day as it's what I do for a living. Up at 5.30 at which point things started to go wrong. Sick kid. Hysterical wife. Apalling fog. Bad feeling. Sent my apolgies to Phil.

Who has noticed the HUGE error in the brochure then? On page 25 it states: "Supercharged V8 Engine" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????? Is this the shape of things to come and maybe there'll be an RS4 Plus after all!!!!!!!!

perhaps it's the PLUS brochure that got handed out by mistake! I've mentioned to the dealer that holds my deposit that I may have to "re-think" unless I have some more info.

Bob, mind if I ask who has your deposit ?
Is it the same dealer I use ??
PM me if you prefer. Reason I ask is that they have been slow in sending me any info too  :audibash:
