Hi Guys

Just to let you know we (Heather and I) will be at the dinner on Sunday eve. Its all we can get to unfortunately, as other commitments got in the way.

Reading the list of dinner attendees, I see most have either RS4's GT3, etc, so I will fell out of place in the aga. Never mind, old RS4 gone, new one arrives april.

By the way, Heather has got the cork blacked up for those moustaches and is ready for some table dancing.

God help us !!!

All set to leave Castle Combe to go to Donington and I had a brake problem. It looks like one piston has stuck resulting in the pad on the other side of the disk wearing down to zero. Disks not damaged and got home safely but gutted not to be there.

Absolutely fabulous day!! :biggrin3:
Great track, great weather and the company wasn't bad :bigblink:
Thanks a lot Phil for organising it (and anyone else who had a hand in it) Hopefully next time more people will commit a little earlier and make your job easier. Sorting out that new RS4 was pretty special and now I can say I've not only seen one but been round a track in one too :D
Would have liked to have stayed for the meal cos I'm sure that will be a hoot too. Looking forward to the next one. Merry Christmas :beerchug:

PS. Thanks to Gav for my trip in the Lotus (awesome :<beep>_you: I can see how you were seduced by by that one) and thanks to Gordon and Dave for my wheels/tyres. I nearly looked like a decent driver with those on :rocker:

A big thankyou to those who organised this event, and of course also to all those who took part.

It was a great day out for me and the boys and I didnt even get on the track!
Nice to meet you all.

The new RS4, IMHO, was absolutely awesome, as was the test pilot, certainly not a disappointment.

I'm also sorry I couldnt stay for the meal and beer - next time!

Cheers guys, and thanks Phil - what a day. Good to meet some of you (even if I couldn't stay on). I've still got too much tread left, so need to do it again soon.

Good to see so many Nogaro or Sprint Blue cars in one day!

Thanks again.

What a great day! Thanks for organizing and making a Newby feel so comfortable. I got all the rust off my brake disks - except now I need new pads and disks.
