There's zero paint left on mine when they were painted after headwork. Others have painted too, it doesn't hang around long, so we're all interested how long your powdercoating lasts innit.

Was just thinking about his - I actually can't 100% remember if it was powdercoat. I gave it to my powdercoat guy and called out to him that it was magnesium. "Leave it with me".
He might have done powdercoat, stove enamel or 2-pack.

Austria trip is in may,i doubt i cer car all done before that,as she need few panels resprayed,doing bi-led conversion,also rear suspension is removed,all will be sand blasted n powder coated,etc etc,not in rush as got touareg vr6 for now.Why you asking?you have a feeling she can't make it?

we'll see,i defo update thread if anything bad happen.Fingers crossed and she will give me alot of trouble free miles,all mechanical stuff shuold be done in next few weeks

little update,as i just bought 1st house in London im not pushing my mechanic to rush with rs6 as i'll get big bill to pay,and house need 80K to be liveable,but he do some work in spare time so i thought i would share some pic.Box is bolted with engone,starter motor working as it should,i sent some calipers to powder coaters,got my adapters ready,in the end i went for 380mm front with porsche panamera 6pots and 345 rear with 4pot off panamera and r8 hand brake.
