longlife service

Post by JAMES » Fri Dec 09, 2005 11:25 am

can anybody here tell me does the longlife service have a 1 or 2 year gap between the inspections and what should be the average mileage, also is there any way to tell if they have been done on time rather than somebody just driving with the lights flashing and not giving a f*k.
are all s3's on the indicator.
cheers.

Basically AVS servicing has a maximum 2 year interval. The maximum mileage interval for an S3 is 19000 miles. These figures decrease rapidly if the car is driven hard or is used for towing etc etc.

I've never seen an S3 do the full time or mileage, 12-15000 miles and 12 months is more realistic.
