Looking for a RS6 or GTR... Advice needed...
Hi guys
I know some will slate me on the forum for even mentioning a Gt-R but i need some help with finding the right car.
So i currently have a competition pack m3 on a 17 plate but am wanting something faster and more agressive.
The GT-R fits this bill pretty well but the rs6 605ps model us also a weapon but at same time a much more spacious car.
Decent examples are around 75k with decent options. With talks of a C8 would it be a good time to buy a RS6? Also its my first time doing a PCP and the dealers are saying not to put down large depos. I was thinking 15k but they say a large monthy is a better option...
Advice please guys

I had a 2015 RS6. Fantastic car but just too big, weird torque steer thing going on when nailing it and changing lanes (have a search on here I think some guys got wheel alignment to sort it out) and a bit boring unless you are going mad. I have a new GTR on order. The RS is head and shoulders above the Nissan in terms of comfort etc but the Nissan is a crazy car and a laugh a minute to drive. The 2017 onward is way more usable than earlier ones. I had a 09 GTR and was far to extreme for an everyday car. The 2017+ car has gone a long way to make the car a daily driver.
If you want comfort, quiet, awesome build quality, lovely looking car and practicality the RS is the car for you.
if on the other hand you want a toy that looks aggressive and in your face, with just about 4 seats, a decent size boot for the weekly Shop and luggage etc the GTR is the one to go for. Depreciation wise is pretty goo as well.
2 totally different cars.

C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though

Yes it is on Gefeffert deep coilovers (essentially KW super low ones). It looks like it has spacers too as the wheels don't normally sit that far out.
Lots of videos of it on yuotube when it has the plate KW 10WER

Cheers for that info Mike and not trying to thread hi jack but do you have any further videos / sound clips of your RS6 with the OEM Exhaust mod (front and centre resonaters removed) as I’m thinking this could be a possible route if another deal doesn’t come off..

I had both for a while and ended up selling the GTR as it didn't get used.

Re: Looking for a RS6 or GTR... Advice needed...
I owned a GTR from new in 2011 for 18 months. Yes, it looks exciting and goes pretty quickly but there are a huge number of compromises. I found it uncomfortable for long journeys, very noisy inside (general road “hum” rather than exhaust) and too stiff for everyday driving. Hitting a rough bit of tarmac felt very jarring.
I swapped it for an F10 M5 which I had for 2.5 years which I then replaced with the RS6. I had heard the 2017 model was more comfortable so tried one earlier this year (I also tried a Nismo as it felt that would up the excitement stakes and compensate for the lack of comfort). Ultimately, even the standard model was too hard and didn’t suit my use pattern.
I opted for an M5 Competition instead which arrived in December - (for me) it provides a better compromise between excitement and comfort.
