It's a long story mate, but goes along these sorts of lines.

I was late onto the RS4 que and missed the first allocation. Audi put me on the reserve list in case people pulled out of a purchase. I was comming out of a turbo charged volvo so wasn't too bothered until I drove my mates S4. Then I got the bug for quattro and had to have one.

Anyway, to cut a long stpry short I badgered everyone.. my dealer, other dealers, audi Uk .. even went to the motorshow to kick up a fuss (and apart from a girl on the stand saying her boyfriend had one for £55K [img]images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]) there were none left in the country apparantly.. no chance of getting one.

A few days later Jay Kay is given a RS4 by Audi [img]images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] . To say I wasn't amused (not by JK) but by Audi Uk was a bit of an understatement.. of course they can find a car when it suits them.. typical of big companies etc, but no car for a common guy like me.

Anyway, I ended up in an S6 with a huge discount (20%) so I went away happy.
