Picked up the car on Saturday, can’t say I have enjoyed it much yet due to a list of issues over the weekend but as I drive in Europe a lot, can I change the speed display form mph to kmh like I could in my Mark 7 GTD? That also had option to change headlights from RHD traffic to LHD, looking online there is a switch on the light units? I have the dynamic pack on mine so it’s LED lights, not sure the same applies?
While i’m here, recommendations on spacers for the rear, thinking 40 or 50mm? And also brake pad upgrade, they just don’t feel sharp enough for me, recommendations?
Mph to kmh on screen & headlights adapted to LHD

You can certainly change to headlights to drive on the right in the MMI settings, although I understand this will change automatically once the SatNav picks up you are in Europe. I am sure you can change the setting for mph to kph too - this is possibly in the SatNav settings though... I can't quite remember.

40 or 50mm? Crikey. I assume you mean for the axle and not per side?. I have 15mm on the rear and I think that sits perfectly. Others might say 20mm. Others might say 12mm so a bit of personal preference. Never heard of 25mm each side though.
And headlights will change as you as you get to Europe.

Thank you, my brother did mention that to me when he brought his A4 across. Thank you. I’ll dig through the MMI too, still getting use to the car.
And I realised how extreme 40/50mm was after finding a thread on here! Maybe 12mm at the front and 15mm at the back for me as I’d like to lower the car eventually, once the 12 month warranty runs out.
Onto next question, best wheel nuts to use with spacers?

Wheel nuts? Not much use. Wheel bolts however.....
Re: Mph to kmh on screen & headlights adapted to LHD
I use 15mm rear but can't get any spacers on the from with my 40mm springs.
If I swap my 21s for some 20" wheels with 275 tyres I can get some 12mm spacers on but it rubs when not even moving, just turning the steering wheel makes them rub. I'm amazed I haven't ripped the front wing off yet.

thanks for the info, I do plan on lowering it eventually so just some spacers for the back I think. I'll be sticking to the 21''s and not sure if I'll lower it by 40mm or less as I think I have seen a set which only lowers it by 20mm?
Wheel bolts, recommendations on which ones to get? After driving it some more, certainly need to remove the resonators too.
