What’s required hardware wise to achieve these figures mate?

That’s full stage 2, had all the hardware fitted by Dave at DH Automotive up here in Scotland then the map by MRC

Full exhaust (non res/decat), downpipes, BMC filter, airbox flap delete, race plugs and full service

Sounds about right! They get 120 to 140 extra from the stock engine, so with your mods squeezing out an extra few BHP should be possible!

Have a great day (but don't trust the coffee!!) :beerchug:

I know on some other cars there is an airbox flap that opens when the revs rise to let more air in. At lower revs the amount of air required is less and therefore the flap is closed to stop the hot air from the engine getting in; at higher revs the car is generally moving faster and therefore cooling the hot air from the engine so it is less of a problem. You would normally remove the flap if you had a cold air feed to help cool the air under the bonnet.

However, I don'r recall seeing a flap on the C7 airbox. I'll take a look later as mine is in the garage.

It’s a Bloody monster!!! Totally transforms the car

Maybe flap was wrong, there’s a part in the airbox to circulate the air around the box, that’s been removed so the BMC filter gets it direct
