Hmmmm, 3 Audi dealers pushed the Autowatch Ghost quite hard to me 2 weeks back as a counter to the security problem with the Advanced Key.
I wasn't interested as it seems like a faff.

Blimey, the Audi dealers were admitting their own security was <beep>?

Not explicitly admitting it.
They did concede I was not the first customer to ask if the keyless entry part of the Advanced Key could be disabled. They didn't think it could but they then said that they usually fitted a Ghost immobiliser.
Which is kind of an implicit admission, or a poor taste sales pitch.

I'm still trying to get a definitive answer as to whether "Advanced key" can be disabled by coding, I'm still searching. I'm keen on the B&O, but it's only available as part of the Comfort and Sound Pack.

Can’t believe they wasted all the white plastic covering when they hadn’t painted it yet and will they need a ladder to reach the roof to take it off the roof
There you go both gags subtly applied there !

I’m well jealous now. My dealer phoned me today to say it was at the port and should be with me in two weeks

When are you picking it up ?

Unfortunately it’s at the other end waiting to be loaded onto a boat
I suspect it takes a while to stuff it full of Afghan rebels and Mongolian opium without leaving any stains

Thursday. Fingers crossed for you. Mine spent two weeks this side waiting for a transporter. It has taken the maximum amount of time at every stage although turned up very clean despite being sat at the docks for weeks.

A couple more...

This one looks like it has a load of old sheets on it...
It's going to be hard handing it over to the detailer for a few days.

You can turn off auto door opening on the MMI in the RS4. New feature afaik.
