I’ve decided to go down the CETE route primarily due to the convenience of adjusting the height when I so wish.

Really appreciate all the answers here, overwhelmed thanks. Decided to get links, cheapest and easiest option - job done !! Now just got to work out if the MRC larger bore 'carbon' air intake pipes are worth £900

MRC carbon intake? They don't make one so do you know which companies intake it is? Didn't think they'd found one that improved performance yet but certainly most look the part.

No these are separate, they connect to the turbos, the Forge intake not proven big gains anyway - so will be using standard box with uprated filter, but with these larger bore carbon pipes as photo'd above

Oh it is literally just the intake pipes alone. Personally, I'd give it a miss for £900; not sure on that carbon weave.

And you can't even see them with the engine cover on.

I wouldn’t want to touch a single thing in the engine bay of a C7 for fear of it imploding and then the warranty being invalidated.

Well it is indeed the cheapest solution, but....it might take some adjusting to get the correct wanted height during install. No big issue offcourse.
BUT with lowering links you will lower the car in ALL it's suspension modes (comfort - dynamic - effiency). Again no insane issue but it will be fixed and lineair with how much you drop the car in general (drop of 3cm in dynamic = 3cm drop in comfort). All depends what you want....i have with my module dynamic at -35mm, comfort at -15mm, efficiency stock). You car will be new and no car inspection yearly i guess (mine is Light Van so needs a yearly inspection, one button click...back stock). Stock links are pretty fragile, i wouldn't want to replace them :).

But never the less, lowering links are indeed cheap compaired to the module, but it is fixed and permant (i like my gadgets :) ).
Never the less, good luck and enjoy :).

Yes you are right the links will lower all settings.
But the links are so easy to put back to stock if needed. And if the stock ones break they are so easy to replace.

PS the RS only has dynamic and comfort, no efficency setting.

Afaik it aren't the links that snap but the (green) struts where you put the links on....the struts of the sensors itself (bet those aren't cheap). Anyway, really not trying to put your head on other things, i was on the fence aswell what to do, i just ended picking the module.

Don't quote me, but i think one can VCDS and add the effiency mode on to it :) (if it actually works in the RS is a different question....as there is this 'race' mode you can add, but does nothing afaik, in the S).

Apologies if this has already been covered,

Im selling my 800-BHP M5 and just put in an order for a brand new 2018 Nardo Grey Rs6 – very exciting and what an epic car. However the air-suspension is getting the better of me, and the dealers know very little…

If I wanted it lowered by 20mm how would I do this?

Im told the following:

-suspension can be remapped?
-the Audi dealer may be able to do it?
-I can buy a module?

BUT have reached brick walls with these 3 options already, can’t find anyone who can help or give me any further info, can you guys tell me what im missing as id like the lowering and spacers done before I even collect it.
Ahh wondered where you went. Seen your car for sale. I have gone from RS6 to M5 (and some in-between) My RS6 had around 700bhp awesome car, on saying that moving back to RWD is crazy, but crazy fun. You will love the RS6. The only problem I found was it was so sure footed you had to be going mental to have fun, the M5 you can have fun at 40mph lol Surprised you did not go for the New M5? That will be my next car once they drop to around 50-60k
BMW 540i
2018 GTR
F90 M5
X3MC
RS3 Saloon
RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp

https://www.active-sound.eu/en/audi/aud ... suspension

Be interested to hear your opinion If you get this. I have nearly clicked the order button a few times.

I’ve got there exhaust active module and it’s very good quality interates well.

Have you read up on the suspension module. You basically set the new ride heights for comfort and dynamic and the just use the MMI to select the profile.

Plus it has show mode!!!!

That was the CETE module that was mentioned earlier :bigblink: .
It comes with an OFFROAD function aswell (raise the car all the way up, nearly give me 20cm of ground clearance = +30mm). Yes, i got one mayor big ass ramp in my area near shopping center :s. Comes in handy!
