Audi rs6 c7

Does the MMI Hotspot still work with the ignition off or will it close down when you close the car down?

I assume it carries on working when the engine is shut off but ignition is still on but as soon as you open the door and ignition turns if so does the WiFi. I've never checked but that would be the logical thing to do.

Works all the time the ignition is on.
