Rs4 suddenly feels slow

Post by Stigaream » Wed Dec 27, 2017 6:46 pm

2006 Audi rs4 b7

I was out driving a long trip yesterday and suddenly I felt like a loss in power... it feels so slow.
I ran a diagnose and got this.
Anyone know what this can be ?

I can't sleep before I find out what this is all about.
Im no mechanic so I hope it's no big deal.Image

Looks like a knock sensor on its way out. They're located under the inlet manifold, so unless you are a DIY'er, it maybe worth getting a carbon clean done at the same time to best utilise the labour cost involved.

Thanks for tips .
The plan is to send the car to carbon cleaning now right after New year, so I can ask if they can fix knock sensor.

Doubt it. You can do flap test though.

From what I can read it can be det maf sensor that either need a clean or replaced since it's to rich on fuel on both bank 1 and 2.

Where is this on the rs4 b7?

Im not near the car atm. Easy to fix?

It's on the intake pipe, nice and easy to get at.
