Re: Bit Coins
In 2011 I bought loads of shares in a company Sirus minerals http://siriusminerals.com/ a Potash mine in Whitby they where listed the 5th investment in shares in 2017, was told about these bitcoins back in 2013 when they first came out had a look at buying a few but was clueless to what they are about and how you get them did have a look but thought feck it was going to get about £1500s worth
Re: Bit Coins
Not profit until you have the cash. Until then it’s just supposition.RS04YOB wrote:Up £900 in the past day, £2000k profit
Other investment vehicles are available....no dividends from bitcoin/crypto.
Re: Bit Coins
I think a few people on here could do with learning the expression: “agree to disagree”.
It’s completely normal to have differing views on investments - but to start name-calling people that have a different opinion is a sure sign of an amateur.
I’ve worked on many trading floors, and you can have people on the same trading desk with different views on the same security; guess what, they’re not constantly slagging each other off about that (they usually have better insult material, but that’s another topic).
So - you have a view about bitcoin, someone else thinks differently. So what? You could both be wrong or both be right depending on the entry and exit points.
With something as new and as unsubstantiated as bitcoin though, luck and risk tolerance probably has as much to do with it as anything! Nobody has a crystal ball. Nobody knows for sure what the future may hold for bitcoin. I have an opinion, and although I may not know much, I reckon I still know more about some of the hurdles it has to overcome, but I’m not arrogant enough to say that I’m right and to slag off others that disagree. There is always uncertainty in future price movements- and with something as volatile as bitcoin, there’s going to be more uncertainty than most investments!
In short; Let’s keep it civil gents. None of us are mystic meg.
