Personally I don’t think it’s amusing, not in the slightest. I think it’s extremely poor form that you’re going to attempt to commit fraud with Audi for the cost of a new engine, sundries and the labour to install... all because you’re allegedly not man enough to fess up to taking the remap ‘risk’ and that risk backfiring.

FWIW I don’t think you’ll get anywhere with the claim anyway, and I hope you don’t. The ECU counter doesn’t lie, so if it was remapped in your ownership then Audi will/can easily prove it.

It’s amusing because you are trying it on - you’ve mapped your car it’s gone pop so now either pay up or take it up with the mappers. Why blag the dealers it has nothing to do with them.

@Joinery80

Not once did I intimate humour at your expense, I just gave facts and asked questions which you chose to ignore and avoid answering. And that, is what people found have eye opening and perhaps humorous in a 'Head in the Sand' kind of way.

Personally I don't like people who try to cheat Insurance/Warranty, as that increases the cost to people like myself who maintain things to the manufacturer requirements. You chose to remap the car and now it has gone pop, that was your choice. So the only tool around here is the questionable one you decided to remap the car with.

Cheers Skirs6 atleast I have something. It's obviously a known fault. Wish me luck it's going to be a long ride
I wouldn’t say it’s a known fault. Mine was a valve spring snapping. I didn’t have any miss firing it just went pop no warning at all.

I hope Audi read this. Much as I am for the small man in most battles, this stinks - and guess who ends up paying? The rest of us.

Good luck mate, it’s <beep> what you are going through, it’s the risks taken when mapping no doubt about it but still <beep>. As for all the do gooders on here or so called “enthusiasts” as they like to call themselves (or keyboard warriors as I like to call them) they are the reason why this forum has the least comradery of any forum I’ve ever been on. That’s my opinion of course but I’m entitled to it. Keep in touch mate fingers crossed for you

Do-gooders pay for all the shits to do what they want. Sad fact of life. No problem with shits but don't come on here looking for sympathy.

Be careful, you'll be labelled a keyboard warrior (as that we he likes to call them)...

My motto is if you hand on heart you wouldn’t have the balls to say the sh*t you write to their face with the intent in which you write it, then you shouldn’t write it.

The great thing about keyboard warriors is they get to write what they want and not have a reaction of any kind straight away and directly towards them individually, that’s pretty much what I see every time I look at feeds like this.

Happy to say it to anyone's face. I don't like fraud - on forums, at work or in my personal life. Nowt to do with keyboards. And I call it when I see it.
You are perfectly entitled to think differently and cosy up to any "forum friends" who think fraud is fine, but count me out.
Anyhoo ... enough handbags methinks.

Your motto is sh1t. I would, hand on heart, say it to your face. Everything I write on here I'd say to your face.
Every.
Single.
Thing.
And if whilst saying it, you lashed out in violence, then it shall be met with an unending torrent physicality you may or may not be able to deal with, it wouldn't bother me, I love violence. Of course, by you lashing out, it would just further hightlight how you cannot deal with healthy discussions that leave you feeling inadequate.
I digress.
So, this bollox again, unintelligent people who cannot deal with the Internet always end up calling people they cannot confront in person, "Keyboard Warriors", this, ladies and gents, is the warcry of a full reeetard.
I've said it a million times, in various ways, so I'll try another analogy; if you join a forum and one of the members can form words, sentences, concepts or ideas that can be used to better you, you've lost. Take your fucken medicine. You've entered a domain of words, text, pictures and video, your physical strength means zilch here. If you don't like it, leave, get smarter or get used to taking your medicine.
You don't get attacked by a Great White shark in the surf and say "yeah but if that shark was on land, I'd kick its head in", well, maybe you would say that, because you're reeetarded. Intelligent people wouldn't say that, they'd be like "well, that was bound to happen, I was in the ocean, I'll stay on land next". But what about you reeetards that like coming onto the forums? Well, just like when you go swimming in the ocean, accept that you may or may not get attacked by a shark or two innit.

Haha, Keyboard Warriors, so predictable and scripted... next you'll be saying something about me hiding behind my computer screen...
No matter where you go, there you are.

I could not be arsed reading even half of that crap, what I can tell you is 15 years in the Marines, I can promise you I’ve dealt with much worse than a little b*tch like you, you PM me the day you are up north and can back that bullsh*t up!

Uneducated I maybe but I have a lucrative career which enables me to buy big shiny toys like a new RS6 and I got c grades at school and didn’t even go to college, if that’s makes me uneducated in the status quo than you are just the archaic pr*ck that I’ve always thought you are.

I’m happy in my life and appreciate people and support people through bad times. You are nothing, your opinions are Laughed at by many in case you didn’t know.

You PM me that day your up with in an hour of Manchester and we can put every bit of that statement to the test.

Image until that day my friend I wait for your message.
