Rs6 wiring woes
Rs6 wiring woes
Anyone out there got any wiring diagrams of the rs6 v10 engine
I’ve got a few ground to earths and it’s going into limp mode
Vag Com as follows
List of faults as follows
Car starts first time obvouldy not being driven just trying to diagnose the short to grounds as I expect them all to be linked
000052 turbo bypas valve low p0034-002-low
000581 solenoid valve for boost control pressure n75 p0245 -002-short to ground
000585 solenoid valve 2 boost control pressure n274 p0249 -002 short to ground
005173 secondary air pump relay j229 p1435 -002 short to ground
005153 secondary air injection solenoid valve n112 p1421 -002 short to ground
00853 fuel pressure regulator valve n276 P2295 -002 short to ground
005494 right hand engine mount solenoid valve n145 p1576 -002 short to ground
000136 fuel rail /system pressure p0088-001- too high
Finally as anyone had any problems with the passenger mirror control door control unit for the mirror
Mines working intermittently
Any input greatly appreciated

Re: Rs6 wiring woes
I've got the elsawin wiring diagrams, I'll have a look later tonight for you to see the common point for those.
***OLD*** Daytona C5 RS6 Avant - MRC'd - 500HP & 820NM (PistonHeads Link).
***NEW*** Daytona C6 RS6 Avant - MRC'd - 925HP & 1150NM (PistonHeads Link)

Re: Rs6 wiring woes
Thanks ian much appreciated been struggling a bit without wiring diagram
Re: Rs6 wiring woes
Firstly now we have a copy, clear all the codes then restart the car and see what codes come back, just in case any of those codes above are old ones not related to the current fault.
Here's a PDF of the engine wiring - http://www.ianhenshall.com/C6_RS6_Engin ... agrams.pdf
From your current list of codes it looks like the majority of the problems are on page 13 (N75, N112, N145) and page 14 (J299 - not J229) which all use Connector 6 (D108 on the diagram) on the Engine bay harness and all of which seem to be effecting the passenger side (of a UK car) of the engine.
Page 26 (N274) is on the passenger side but doesn't use Connector 6 and N276 (fuel pressure regulator 2) I think is built into the high pressure fuel pump No2, again on the passenger side although I'm not 100% sure TBF as I can't find it anywhere in Elsawin but Google suggest it's in the HPFP No2.
Hope that helps.

Re: Rs6 wiring woes
Hi Ian many thanks for the reply
I have cleared all the codes and the first code that appears is the n276 it also says to check Ecuador no2 as the same fault is listed there
Then when you start the car and let it run it produces the above faults I’ve tried resetting a couple of times individually also in Vag Com
I’ll have a run through the diagram and go from there will keep you posted
Many thanks for the help
