B9 RS4 'Carbon Edition' - coming soon

I've not looked at the carbon edition, but the Audi configurator manages to make carbon look silver / alluminium when it's not. When I was getting a C7 RS6 I designed it black with black and more black, plus carbon wherever I could. It looked <beep> on the config but stunning when it arrived. Sadly I never took delivery... but that's another story.

I'd be surprised if they mixed allu with black, Audi are quite good at getting black optics right.

They are mixing carbon with aluminium or black. The carbon edition has the carbon and aluminium as part of it.

I need to see a few for real as I'm not liking this floating grill look where there is nothing below the grill body coloured.

I hope you can swap the aluminium for black on the carbon edition if going that route does help the numbers

The RS4 'Carbon Edition' gets the 'Carbon Matt Aluminium Styling Pack' as standard, not the 'Carbon Black Styling Pack'.

The included styling pack has the matt aluminium radiator grille, windows and horizontal bar as standard. In order to get the black radiator grille, window surrounds etc, you will need to spec the £5k Carbon Black Styling Pack, I can't see them 'swapping' FOC.

Scrub the last bit of what I wrote, I've just checked on the internal configurator. You cannot spec the 'Carbon Black Styling Pack' on the 'Carbon edition', you simply get the 'Carbon Matt Aluminium Styling Pack' as standard, and that's your lot, there's no other exterior design options available.

I tracked the new rs5 today and was not happy about the sound of it. However it handled great on track, and the push of the engine is also great! Looking forward to what the rs4 will be like!

Some small CE pictures have appeared internally on the system. Showing you get the aluminium trim bits rather then black. There's no option to change these.
