What a load of crap. The colour will appeal simply because its on an RS4 (not an A4) which is widely known for its understated looks and exclusivity, having a colour like goodwood just adds to the package if thats your thing. I would say the biggest hurdle will be trying to get someone to spend money on your car over one from a dealer where they can take it back if things start to go wrong, its not 5k being handed over, more like 25k. Where would you spend your money is what you have to ask yourself?

Have to agree, but then I would. I'd have thought that in the case of these rare beasts - it would be the car itself and it's condition that was reason to purchase. My colour of choice wasn't green, it's black by a long way, but I wanted a low mileage car from a main dealer for £30k. Thing is, there aren't the numbers out there 5 years on to be so choosy!

Anyway problem solved, after a glowing report this weekend from an Audi tech after cam belt service, I'm not selling!

Cheers, Gramps.

Riiiiigghht. So two identical cars, one in green and one in silver. Both priced the same. Which do you think will sell first? Like it or not, it does make a difference.

Yes, someone will want green, but there aren't as many buyers out there as those who'll want silver or noggy.
