Hi there,
I am currently mulling over an RS4 B7 Saloon that was owned by a member on here for a while and another one since then for the last 6 months. Seems it had a lot done to it (finding forum posts by owners is a great help!). Big question mark though looking at the gumtree pics is that it has "Cream Leather Recaro Interior with comfort pack" and not the bucket seats?
Did this car originally have them? I know there were a lot of thefts. Does this devalue by an amount or was the comfort pack the other option?
TIA
Hi guys!!! Quick RS4 newbie question as debating one..

The RS4 buckets are amazing,
But fooking uncomfortable if you have a larger frame (arse) lol
So I guess with the number being bought by fat cats back in the day a fair number have them - every few months you'll find a new user offering their seats up for swaps plus money for Comfort Seats just so they can use the car without regular visits to physio.
I found it easier to lose a few pounds and just man up lol
But Comfort Seats certainly doesnt automatically mean the "wingbacks" (they hate them being called that on here lol) have been nicked.
Some clever buggers can possibly even tell from chassis number what the original spec was.

Re: Hi guys!!! Quick RS4 newbie question as debating one..
not really much difference in value-it depends on who is after one at the time
most will want the wingbacks but some folk[myself inc] are a fan of the comfort seats
my last rs4 had the wingbacks but i found they were a bit irritating to haul my overly large frame in and out of-my wife did too-very comfy once you are in them though
lots of these rs4 have been recorded-but its mostly for damage like any other performance car-yes some may have been deemed a total loss due to seats but its a story well told
i am not a fan of lighter color interiors in any car but i am sure the cream leather will appeal to many
