Welcome back Clive. I don't think you have anything to be embarrased about. John was someone I pursued as a source after responding to his H&R auction on ebay (which I didn't get).
I know Brett C has regular dealings with John and as others have received some of their kit (albeit few and not S4) and refunds have started then, assuming all refund are completed successfully it would appear to be 'just unfortunate and dissapointing'.
I for one wish I hadn't put you all in touch with John but hindsight is a great thing.
Cheers

Thanks for that Darren.
As you say, hindsight is a wonderful thing, we all entered into this with the best intentions, and I'm sure we've all learned from it.
Cheers,

Me.
Spoke to John on Monday and he said that as soon as cheques had cleared into his account it would be going out via CHAPS, but nothing is in my account as of Wednesday lunch time and apparently he's off on holiday tomorrow so I'm gonna call him again, see if I can collect the cash personally.

2001 Avus Silver RS4, APRacing 6pots - Gone, but not forgotten

I paid by bank transfer, and want a return through bank transfer. Sent my details a week ago but still nothing showing. I tried e-mailing again yesterday but no response. Will try calling today.
Annoying because I have already bought another set and I'll be out of pocket for 2 sets... which I can't afford for too long.

2000 Nogaro S4 Saloon
I spoke to him last Thursday and got a definate YES I have transfered the money. Still nothing so I can only assume he has lied and is taking pi** quite frankly.
I have refrained from publicly conveying my thoughts on this forum and have given him the 'benefit of the doubt'. I spoke with him yesterday and was not very coherant on account of a very bad throat and ear infection. Such is my scepticism now I suspect he was talking through a handkerchief. He has been clearly buying for some time.
I have left him a message and required a response by 1500 hours today and it has not been forthcoming.
