Creak / rattle from drivers door.

Hi all,

has anyone ever had a creak / rattle from their drivers door. I've had my car into audi a few times and reported it, they looked at it and said it was something to do with the door seals, which they did something with and it stopped for a bit, then comes back.

My days is it annoying and apparently not something they would fix under extended warranty

I had this a couple of years ago shortly after picking up my RS4. I used a very small amount of WD40 on a rag and rubbed all door seals. Never had an issue since. I ignored forum advice elsewhere stating not to use this due to risk of perishing the rubber - it's done no damage to the seals on my car.

The rubbers and windows seals are a silicone based rubber, use a silicone spray to the same effect for a longer lasting cleaner result.

Get yourself a small pot of Gummi Pfledge. Excellent on all door seals.
