New owner checking in

Post by SteveG » Sun Jul 30, 2017 6:56 am

I bought KentAndy's Daytona Loon yesterday. Drive back was 2 hours in the rain from Brum to Kent :(. Averaged 26mpg across the entire journey though which was good to know. Amazing how well the cabin is noise insulated. You can hardly even hear the horn when on the move lol. I was expecting the nose to feel heavy in corners and the steering also. Not the case, it feels quite agile and not big.

Got a tyre pressure warning light on from the test drive, I did match all the pressures and store them when on the way home.....must be a faulty sensor I guess, so the first thing to do and a service in 40 days

Enjoy Steve. It's a superb motorway muncher whatever the weather. Add some H&R arb and MTM springs and they feel even better in the corner she. I didn't get time to get round to it.

Thanks Andy. The car still looks well
loved and cared for in the flesh, and with the full history and that power I couldn't fault it much other than the MMI button needing a new cap and a curbed rim. lol.

Yes, I had my first play today. So comfortable and well put together, yet what a beast. Glad it's got the ceramics.
