I have only had this a couple of times, but sometimes when warm (say 30mins after a long journey) the car takes a few attempts to start. I think plugs might be due (54k on clock), but have just bought the car so need to check the service history with audi. Still have extended warranty on it, so hopefully anything sinister will be covered!! Any ideas?

Fuel starvation?
Perhaps run a tank of Shell or BP's finest through if you have used a lesser supermarket brand?
Don't give Audi the wiggle room to accuse you of using sheeeiiitte fuel - not that I am you understand!
