what is the job of small holes in the exhaust, after the cat

you can see in the illustration, near number 6-7, hat is the job of these holes??

does anyone have an idea??

nope, there is a hole closed by the nut(part 6-7). not like a lambda hole, its small, I should have pictured it. There is 2 of them after the cats. one for each.

yeah i think simon is right. so that a lamda probe can be put in to test the cats before and after them

its a small hole, not for lambda, maybe for thermocouple
