I'm not trying to intentionally fit budget tyres but just wondered if people had tried them. I think they only work out about £30 a corner cheaper than the Goodyear in the end.

Sounds like they aren't a bad tyre but will just bear in mind as an option for the future. There are that many different brands available now there's no saying what each will be like on our cars with our individual driving styles. God knows anything was better than the EP Accelera originally on mine.

If I went to view a fast Audi second hand at a dealer and it was on Kuhmos, Id want a new set of tyres included as part of the deal, and if it was for sale privately Id want the money for new tyres knocked off the asking price. So it would cost the private seller way more than £30 a corner.

If it was a £500 station car Ford Focus on 15s, and the tyres were £40 not £70, that would be different. But an RS6 pumps more than a Ford Focus's total power through each individual tyre.

There was a 2 ish year old A6 Black Edition in my campsite at Le Mans, 20" rotors, fronts were PZero, rears were Viking or something? It just screams to me, 'three year lease deal at £450 a month' or whatever, or the not wanting to put your hand in your pocket to run it properly etc. If the owner doesn't care what tyres go on, God only knows what top up oil they put in it etc etc

At least those brake pads won't lock the brakes up making you slide on the tyres.
The way I budget for mine is, what ever oem parts cost, I just find better products for around the same price.

Cheers for the congrats guys! I agreed in the end I didn't think it was worth it for £30 a corner when I have already had 2 sets of GY F1's. Mine aren't due yet but I have noticed my front passenger tyre has worn quicker than the drivers side. I've checked all the pressures and wear is even across all the tyres. Still going to rotate them for now anyway, don't think it can have been a by product of when my ABS module failed and it said the fault was on that side.
