Wanted B7 RS4 Ceramic setup

A few years ago when I desperately wanted some Ceramics, I purchased a Black Avant with Ceramics for £19,750 & a flight to Scotland, the Ceramics were then swapped over onto the Blue one I had. The donor Black RS4 was sold some 18 months later for £21.5k with about 8k more miles on the clock. I did sort it out into a sellable condition though, by refurbishing the Wheels & Mirrors in Titan colour, new mirror base plates, 4x new Michelin tyres and new TPMS sensors, Auxiliary Radiators, 2x new headlights, parking sensor, CV boot, Audi Service & MOT. Along with a good machine polish and detail by myself.

So the Ceramics probably cost me no more than £1500, but they easily added £2k to the price of the Blue car - which I eventually sold and miss loads, thankfully it's still on the forum with a fellow enthusiast.

I added the pictures for the seller of that black one and remember it well, he diddnt know how to add pictures so i helped him out

The way i see it is exactly as above, buy right and you may not lose to much but gain carbon brakes! which as i have seen this week and we all know fetch a fortune.

Theres a black saloon on ebay / Pistonheads / auto trader now for about £19k IIRC and about 80k miles. Has ceramics...

^ sorry mate. I've just looked across all three. Then gone back through archives to find a link I shared and it's definitely gone. It was on auto trader 25th May. Not surprised it's gone TBH, but keep a look out incase it comes back up.

That's a fine looking garage. I would have kept the black one though.

Yeah I remember seeing it as well Marc, was good value that Saloon. There's only a yellow convertible with Ceramics available at the moment, bit of a gamble trying to move that one on afterwards.

Cheers Sam, these are still the original set of alloys, I have bought a spare set just in case I need to get these refurbed.

I've waxed and sealed the bodywork to within an inch of it's life too.

(Sorry Dougie, this isn't helping is it)
