Importing RS4

I really like the RS4 but their current prices are simply too high for me to afford. Has anyone sucesfully imported a LHD RS4. Is it worth doing?

I would appreciate any views.

I have an RS4 from Germany.
You will probably fine the prices now are pretty similar in the the UK, but the selection may be a little greater. I can put you in touch with a very relaiable Audi/VW dealer in Frankfurt if you wish.
You should probably bank on the best part of a grand on getting it back to the uk and doing all the paperwork to make it a UK registered car.

Hi,

I have just imported a Black B+B tuned RS4 from a dealer in dusseldorf.
I Stay in spain but the procedure will be the same im sure.
If you buy a car in Germany from a dealer, they will provide you with a 5 day plate which covers you to drive the car back to the UK to get it registered, this costs 80 euros and also has 3rd party insurance.
I drove my car to barcelona and ran up a 350euro fuel bill, but the drive down the auto ban was awsome with the car showing a good 300kph before having to back off, and i only paid 27k euro for the car, so the saving is there. i also recomend a site to source the car.www.mobile.de.
