My Avant has the factory fitted SS+ but one problem with this is the car always looks like it's launching even when still!
Does such a spring exist that lowers the front enough to match the rear?
I know I could fit coilovers or KW adjustable springs but whilst the DRC is behaving, I'd rather just fit springs for the meantime.

I had a set of KW adjustable springs only. You can set it how ever you want it. They are around £450 new from memory.

I was going to fit some h&r front springs to bring it level with the rear, same setup as you but ended up with coilovers due to Drc failure. Still got them, never fitted but they are for a saloon so not sure if the spring rate is different to an avant

Thanks for the reply, I should have been clearer, it's a only a pair of front springs I'm after, I've got nothing against the KW adjustable springs, infact if the DRC set up was new and I knew it had plenty of years on it I'd quite happily fit the KW's as in my eyes it's the best of both worlds but as I'm probably on borrowed time with the DRC I'd rather not have to fork out £450, only fit two out of the four adjustable springs then a month later fix the DRC or go down the coilover route.

I don't think you're going to find a company that will sell front and rear separately. I think adjustable springs will be the only option without just cutting them down like the old days....
You do have ss+ springs on the front right?

Guys in America have fitted the front spring perches from the B5 platform.

You'd think the spring rate would be the same at the front but you never know, I'll do some digging, seem to remember there being a thread a while, maybe it was yours!

You're probably right but I'd rather buy 4 springs and have two gather dust in the garage than spend £450 on adjustable springs and only fit two.
Yea SS+ springs on the front, slightly stiffer than SS but similar height hence the slabs in the boot look!

I'm confused what it is you're after, sorry if I'm stupid. I have a set of SS+ springs at home that you can have for cheap if that's what you're after?
Did Audi release 3 different options for springs on the b7? I though it was only 2, SS & not and SS+ was the same as SS.

You can buy H&R front springs only, I have this setup on my car. Revolution can sort you out.
I bought a set due to time constraints.

Why would you only change the fronts? The spring rates are usually different on aftermarket stuff, so aren't you just messing with the balance? Can't imagine handling is going to be optimised. Just replace all four like most people do.

Probably was my post asking this a while ago. I've got the springs here doing nothing if you are interested

I fitted H&R front springs and left the SS+ rear and the handling is perfect, Nurburgring included, it has hardly changed at all from stock maybe a tiny bit less understeer thanks to the lowering which gives a tad more negative camber.
I reckon spring rates are pretty close, and definitely not a concern.

Noticed this on my avant with ss+. The rear sits lower as if the boot is full, this seems to be normal with them then
