looking like my water pumps on its way out 58k started the car up this morning and soon turned it off, can hear a metallic ting, ting, tinge ,noise sounds like an impeller catching im assuming its the water pump, and not a turbo as it was making the noise running on 1200rpm so i wouldn't expect the turbo impellers to spin at 1200rmp or am i wrong
can anyone recommend where to buy a cambelt kit, at the right price,
or do i have to buy the bits separately
is this all the bits that i would need to order tomorrow
timing belt
- Water pump with gasket
- Serpentine belt
- Idler roller
- Tensioner roller
- Thermostat with O-ring
can anyone lend me a cam locking tool, promise to send it back
cheers
water pump or turbo

The bar for locking the cams is fairly cheap at £60.
It may help if you borrow a set of slider pins for the front of the car. Gets the front end out by a few inches in the "service position". Makes the job easy.
Water pumps are cheap as is the repair/cam belt kit from the dealer , it contains most you will need.
Top tip for resetting the belt tensioner. remove it place it in a vice, close it and lock it in with a pin etc. Refit, remove the pin when you have timed the engine.

RE: water pump or turbo
I'm pretty sure the turbos will be spinning even when the car is ticking over..... I would go as far to say that on tickover there probably spinning at more than 1000rpm....
If it were turbos it would be high pitched..... if you can here it clearly tinging as you call it and it get faster with revs I would look around the front of the engine.
Infact I would listen under the bonet turbos and waterpump are at opposite ends of the engine it should be clear where the sound is coming from.....
hope this helps...
