Am keen on FMIC too. Any interest in a group buy?

Doug, who makes the FMIC on the French S4?

Didn't MRC mention something about FMICs not so long ago?

We did a group buy when I got my Punto one, bought the cores from Pace and had someone Tig them up for us to a template design we knocked together. Worked out much cheaper than buying an off the shelf design....ignoring the overheating issues off course.

Never had any overheating issues on mine since the DUH FMIC was installed , about 12 months ago.

IMO it has improved the performance, especially in the summer months, combined with the water injection it is awesome.

On my install it is pretty well hidden as I have retained mesh in the grills etc so you do not have to go down the same route as SFORCE if you do not like that look.

Hi

Did they give you any time scale.

I am just about to purchase one from DUH but would wait for a Pace one.

Cheers Tom

The french one was a one off. We have asked for a group buy price, but the shop needs another S4 - so not sure when we will get something back.

This is very interesting stuff. My mate has been experimenting with various FMICs, Charge coolers, water injection and shortening boost pipe routes to VERY good effect on his Fiate Coupe. He's sent various designs in the form of drawings to PACE who have produced some first class bespoke work for approx £600. As an ex- fabricator/welder their customer response, work and after sales is first class.

Prawn I'm very intersted in your set up. I'll need to have a search through your posts to see what you've done.
