Sorry mate. There were a few people trying to get their hands on them, not sure who it was but there was someone even trying to offer over the asking price trying to get them. They were an absolute bargain. If it makes you feel any better they are in mint condition. I haven't seen the calipers yet as I've had them painted but the guy doing the work was really surprise and even mentioned it a few times. :thumb:
I've could have sold the ceramics many times over, but I'm glad they have gone to a good home.

They have gone to a good home. Can't promise they're going to have easy life though, especially when I'm doing mountain runs in the Austrian Alps next week. Lol.

Finally got some pictures of the brakes finished off. Went for a Ferrari yellow. It's really difficult to see the size of these from the pictures.

Just spoke to MRC. Carbon was real bad so before clean I hit 377ps and now with clean, map and stage 2 manifold I'm pulling 439ps. I'm happy with that I must say. Really surprised that it was so bad because I know I've been able to keep up with other mapped forum cars no problem.... I also asked them to get a video of the crackle map on the b7 for others that are interested so we'll see if they do it.

Brakes still haven't been dropped off by the courier yet.......

I thought it still performed really well so can't wait to get behind the wheel now.

We can do. I'm not fitting the bypass valves now. MRC really don't recommend fitting them unless we fabricate something to channel the exhaust fumes away from under the car which isn't worth it for the cost.... We can still do it though if it's worth it.

I really want them and want them for the weekend. Maybe I'll call them tomorrow and ask them to throw them on anyway.... Although now looking at the photos I can see why they wouldn't want to fit them. There is no diversion for the exhaust, it comes straight out from the back of the valves so it really makes sense what they are saying.. What do you think? The whole thing is a hacky temp solution until I put something else on there. Also have to worry about them hitting the floor when I drop the car now too..

Does it give any more BHP? If not then why and looks like something you'd fit to Vauxhall nova back in the day.

You have really nice RS don't make a faux pas!
